Behind MÅURITZ lies the refined continuation of Maurizio Lee’s long-standing musical journey. Formerly known as
Nomad Grooves, he has shaped a distinctive soundscape that merges hypnotic minimalism, analog textures, and technical precision, avoiding commercial formulas to favor sonic depth and artistic sincerity.

Born in Colonia, Uruguay, and now based between Barcelona, Zürich and Fuerteventura, MÅURITZ has been active since 2004. His early steps began in the emblematic 900HouseClub on the Costa Brava where he was a resident for 7 years. Over the years, he’s evolved into a respected vinyl selector and producer,
with roots deeply grounded in sophisticated groove culture.

He´s the founder of IN THE MIX! Euphorbia, the island’s most iconic sound system and desert party series. Known for curating intimate, off-grid events with international artists, his work reflects a deep dedication to authenticity, community, and sensory exploration.
